sixteenth

          We are on the last challange of the year. We are so nervius because tomorrow we have the last exam of the year and we are ovwewhelmed to do the exam and get a good mark to finish the course with good feelings. We think that this challenge has the most diffucult exam comparing with the others but we are ready to do it. The challenge is about the OMROOM programmation, is something new for us, but despite the compilicacion we are studying a lot for tomorrow.
          During this week we have given the last touches of the project. We have managed to do everything we asked in this challenge except the servomotor that we could not use it since we would need two other tapes and we only have one. We also have a final English exam where we have to answer five questions about the two years of the course. The important thing about this exam was more about writing well than what we can talk about.

          Finally we presented our challenges like theothers make a presentation from their own challenges also. We want, but we can´t put on the servomotor to finish the project as all other groups had they done, so our advice to the students from the first course is that they can start preparating the second year because is more complicated and programming is so important.
         

fifteenth

            One week less to finish our  last challenge so this will probably be the last publications. Last week we didn´t have english class because there was a strike in fact we commented on our previous publication. On friday we went back to class we continued working on our challenge that at the moment seems to be progressing little by little.          

          This week has started from Tuesday because on Monday we had free for San Blas and on thursday we were in the strike. As you know this last strike was about the metal strike, but some teammates were in class also because Maristak had the minimum services for those who wants to continue with her challenges or things that had to do.

          There is less and less to finish and this week we have advanced a lot and we need to make improvements and start the servomotor, here at you right you have a picture to see what about we are talking about, because all about the programm and the screen has being finished today. In this image you can see the servomotor. We have to make improves in the programm because of the servo, but when we finish that we will be without realizing in FCT´s which are the pratices of the course. Finishing with all this as you know this can be the last publication so we hope you enjoy it and if it is more came and learn with us the new thing the challenge has prepared for us.

fourteenth week

          We have just start with the new and last challenge, the fifth one. Starting with it we want to explain who is doing the specific things in it. Paul and Joseba are making the second file, Xabilo is making the firts one and also the screen. Mou is making the general screen and Wilson is making the exercises of the variator.

          We start the day changing the variator because the first we use was not broken, but stills not working for unknown reason so that why we change. The second one is broken so now we are with out variator and mechanical tape, which brought a few days ago to make a semireal practice. Following with this we have to make the programm of the OMRON which consist the project on, but if the tape doesn´t work we don´t now how is going to be exactly the presentation of this. Therefore, the final screen will be done before the programm because is so easier.

          Because we don´t want to be working until ninety, tomorrow, 30th of January, a general strike is called for this reason, so from here we hope that all of you will be doing the strike, also you Richard, who is our teacher of English as you now.

          On friday our group has to make a little exam about variators. Consist on introducing dates of variables to put on work the tape and finally after two weeks more of work we will make the last exam according with the calendary of the course so this is all about this last week thank you las always for beeing with us another week and we hope you will still learning with us to the last day of class.

thirteenth week

          Hello everyone, here we go again. We just had finished the penultimate challenge and yesterday, 21st of January, we presented the work we were working on during this last 4 weeks of class. First of all, here at your right I will put a picture for you to see how the model finished. As you know some pieces did not work but this did not change the mark we deserved because the program puts everything into operation, but we had to move the mechanical arm with the hand for example or move the pieces with the hand because the tape also was broken.

          In this new challenge we had a exam and this is going to be the last one. Also as it is the last challenge and as we had not work with the varaidor, at your left you have a picture of what is a varaidor, it can be difficult, but with the team work we had been working during this two years we think that we can make a great exam and all of as we will pass it and we will be on practices during March, April and May. With a little bit of luck we will stay longer time in the company. Aswell we need more information of this new challenge because we carry with it two days and with this we haven´t have enought time to know exactly abaut what we have to done during this 4 weeks.

          And last but no least we have to mention that in english classes we are working on dialogues between two persons and this is going to be positive to our future because when we have a interview and they asked abaut english we have to know how to answer and how to speak fluently. Finishing with it this are going to be the last blog entries so we hope you finished the course with us by following us until the last entry. Thanks for all people.

eleventh week

              Hello, here we are again. We have recently returned fron christmas holiday, everybody of us have spent them in our countries, Wilson has been in Chile, Mohammed too, traveled to his native country, Norway, Xabier in search of his brother who is studying in Germany has gone to make him a surprise visit, Paul has gone to visit his cousin who work in the Maldives and has commented that he has dived a lot because she is diving teacher. The last but not least, Joseba, has been in Jamaica with his friends.          

          Returning to he main theme of this blog, we have to say that we are at day 15 of January and on friday the whole class except us have an exam about their challenges, we don´t have because our work contain an individual section with more exercises comparing with them but in the exmas  forces you to make a 3.5 because if you don´t reach this note they will not evaluate the challence and this nobody wants.

          Focusing a little more on our project, as we are in the final strech, we must to leave everything finished because apart from the faults that the installation has, we have to do several exercises of program called "cosimir" and configure the "hmi" screen with which we can control the actions of the cylinders. On this consist the project basically taking two PLC´s and conecting them with an instruccion that contains the program, called, Tia Portal.
          Finishing with this post we have tom mention that the holidays hace come very well to recover strength and energy so this had been all from this last week, thanks you for all and for being with us every weeks.
